We have several offices located in the Treasure Valley. Our goal is to deliver the best possible dental care for infants, children, teens and kids and for those with special healthcare needs. Our team will strive to make sure that your child has a positive experience while maintaining the highest standard of safety. We want to make sure they enjoy their experience so they make good oral care a priority for life!
We welcome families and kids 0-18 and love to meet our parents. For adults needing ortho care, our treatment isn’t limited to age! In pediatrics part of our job is to make sure that your child is ready and feels confident to someday to go the dentist or orthodontist without their parent. We, like you, want them to have a healthy view of going to the dentist and returning back with confidence.
Here are some tips to help us accomplish that together:
During appointments we encourage parents to be present during the exam portion of a cleaning. This means your questions can be answered, and you are empowered to provide at-home dental education for your child. During the cleanings and x-rays, most children do well with the direction given by our assistants and doctors, so sit back and relax and let the professionals do the work.
During treatment appointments (fillings, etc.) we recommend all siblings remain in the waiting room or outside the door. This helps us keep your child safe and able to hear the directions given. We also want to make sure your other kiddos don’t see anything that would prevent them from wanting to come see us themselves!
Cell phones can be a tremendous distraction so we politely ask that you keep your cell phones off or in airplane mode. If you must take a call, we ask that you answer the phone outside the treatment and exam areas.
Pictures and camera phones are a great way to document your child’s first dental experience. However, there are times when this activity may not be appropriate. Please be courteous to other patients, parents, and team members, and ask before taking pictures or filming in our office.
We value your time! We try to remain on schedule so you can get in and out and on with your day. To do this, we have an appointment policy so we can be respectful of all of our patients.
For new patients please arrive 10-15 minutes prior to your child’s first appointment to make sure all paperwork is completed. This will also make sure you aren’t feeling rushed and your child can get a feel for the office. It is also important new patients show up to their first appointment on time so we can continue to see you in our office.
If something comes up that prevents you from making your scheduled appointment, please give us a full 24 hours notice.
We all run late sometimes, however, to ensure that we stay on schedule and respect our wonderful patients’ time we have a 15 minutes late show policy. If you are later than 15 minutes to your appointment we will not be able to see you that day and will need to try and find you a time that works better.
